Challenge:
For over 2-years, a leading manufacturer of household and personal care products was unable to sell a 1.0MM SF, 60-acre industrial facility in Indiana with outdated capital equipment that had become costly to maintain.
Solution:
Active International assembled a team of environmental consultants to assess the property where it was determined it was saleable on an "as is, where is" basis.
Active purchased the property for full book value, working closely with the local municipality and sold it to a retail developer. The terms of the transaction also relieved the company of any environmental liability.
Results:
The client worked with Active in placing their planned and already budgeted media in National Cable, Print, National Hispanic, Digital, Network & Spot TV. They also achieved the exact same media plan through Active & received full-value for their building that was unachievable in the marketplace.
Challenge:
A telecommunications company was carrying $12M in aged receivables that were proving difficult to collect through traditional methods. The debt was valued at only 15-20 cents on the dollar in the secondary market.
Solution:
Active acquired the debt portfolio at 45 cents on the dollar, more than double what secondary debt buyers were offering. Payment was made in Trade Credits that the client could apply toward their substantial advertising budget.
Active utilized its network of collection specialists and payment plan administrators to recover the debt ethically and effectively.
Results:
The client immediately recognized $5.4M in value from assets previously written down. They deployed the Trade Credits across their annual media plan including national TV, radio, digital display, and OTT streaming platforms, achieving 100% delivery on all campaigns.

A national retail chain had millions of dollars in unused and unsold gift cards sitting as liabilities on their balance sheet. Traditional liquidation channels offered only 40-60% of face value.
