Challenge:
For over 2-years, a leading manufacturer of household and personal care products was unable
to sell a 1.0MM SF, 60-acre industrial facility in Indiana with outdated capital equipment
that had become costly to maintain.
Solution:
Active International assembled a team of environmental consultants to assess the property
where it was determined it was saleable on an “as is, where is” basis.
Active purchased the property for full book value, working closely with the local
municipality and sold it to a retail developer. The terms of the transaction also relieved
the company of any environmental liability.
Results:
The client worked with Active in placing their planned and already budgeted media in National
Cable, Print, National Hispanic, Digital, Network & Spot TV. They also achieved the exact
same media plan through Active & received full-value for their building that was
unachievable in the marketplace.
